 There are several reasons why Mr. Williams’ business failed. First, the store’s position was not good because it was located next to the Fairfax Apartment Building which was on a small side street just outside of town. Thus, it was not easy for people to notice it. Besides, there were two large music stores that was three miles away from a shopping center. Therefore, many people would go to the two stores instead of Williams’. The second reason is the music style which Mr. Williams bought. Most of the CDs were hip-hop and rock, however, people who live in the Fairfax are almost at the age above 41. Hence, this kind of age group wouldn’t like such two music styles. Moreover, the pay that Mr. Williams paid his employees was too high. Eventually, he couldn’t afford it. The most important reason is that the time that the store opened was too short. Consequently, few people would walk past the store or even enter the store. For several reasons above, I suppose that Mr. Williams should think twice when he makes any decision.

I’ve decided to accept a job for several reasons. First of all, I needn’t ask my mother to give me money anymore if I earn money on my own. In this way, my mother needn’t work so hard to support our family. Another reason is that I want to make good use of my time after I graduated from senior school. I won’t feel bored if I have my daily target. Moreover, I can use money I earn freely if I get the pay. I can buy whatever I want or even plan to take a trip to the countries where I want to visit. The reasons above are why I made this decision, and I hope it is the right one.

               Stanley Manufacturing decided to open a large factory in a small town, which is called Acton. Thus, this construction will lead to many sorts of negative effects on Acton. First of all, the quiet town will become noisy after the large factory opens because the factory will make lots of noise day and night. Also, the factory may release polluted water and foul gas. Both of them will harm those townsmen’s health if they live there for a long time. Third, the traffic will become a big trouble in the town every day because many people work for the large factory. Hence, people have to care about their safety when there is a traffic peak. Most importantly, the town will change very much once the factory opens. Many people, places and sceneries will change fast. In short, it will bring about many bad effects on the small town after the factory is built.

I oppose that people meet strangers through online dating sites for some reasons. First, there are many criminals seeking the children, especially teenagers, to chat with them and plan to cheat their money. Chatting with the children for several days, these criminals will take the opportunity to ask them for money. In general, many people would forget their common sense and give them money. Second, some criminals will ask them out, and when  they know each other well they will rape or even murder them. Out of curiosity, the children may promise to go out with them. Eventually, they not only lost their money, but put no trust in anyone. Due to all of the two reasons, one must conclude that we can’t be too careful to meet people on the Internet.

  I once lived in Taipei, and worked as a volunteer in a hospital. It really felt good to get the opportunities to help people. One morning an elderly woman with a bloody head was sent to the hospital by a stranger. Seeing the situation, I shuddered involuntarily and became worried.

Few minutes later, a nurse rushed out of the emergency room hastily and asked for anyone who is with blood type O in the hospital. However, there was no one who replied her asking. Suddenly, I found that I was the one with blood type O.

Due to being afraid of making an injection, I hesitated about making the decision to reply the nurse for her help. After a while, I decided to do it and then followed her to draw my blood.

After the operation, the woman was out of danger and knew that I saved her, telling me that she really thanked for my help. At that moment, I realized that I've done a right thing.

        Computers have had several positive effects on me. First of all, they help me save a lot of time to search the information which I need on my assignment. I needn’t spend lots of time staying in the library to find these answers. Also, I can sort them easily and efficiently. Second, I can do shopping online without going out when I have little time to use. I can compare the price from shop to shop then order whatever I want with a click. Third, it’s convenient to contact with our friends, classmates and relatives who live in different countries. I can send my messages to them immediately. That way, our relationship won’t fade away easily, instead, become better and better. Most importantly, computers can help me calculate datum exactly than me do by myself. With them, I won’t be afraid of making any mistakes on calculation. For the reasons above, I think computers are useful invention.

We must wear uniforms when we go to school. Although plenty of students insist that wearing uniforms isn’t necessary, I strongly think that students should wear uniforms when they go to school every day. Firstly, I suppose that wearing uniforms would make the students look neat and comfortable. That way, teachers can manage them easily and efficiently. Secondly, an uniform is also a symbol of a school. That is, if they wear uniforms, everyone will know which school they belong to. When the students wear uniforms, they have to control themselves because they represent their school. Finally, wearing uniform can save not only money but the time they spend choosing their clothes every morning. It is for all the above-mentioned reasons that I suppose that wearing uniforms is necessary.

      There are two people, called Debra and Lynn, want this job. Eventually, I decide to hire Debra Fines for the job because of the following reasons. First, Debra has more education than Lynn. I think Debra may have more knowledge than Lynn. Second, Debra has lots of employment experiences, while Lynn doesn’t. Unlike Lynn, Debra is also a competitive swimmer. Finally, Lynn got the Excellence in Teaching Award in 2004, however, Debra published the English Verb Tenses and Shortman Publishing Company in 2006. For these reasons, I think Debra is qualified and suitable for the job. That’s why I hire Debra for the English instructor.

   I have two brothers, who are Mark and Pete. They are identical twins, thus, I often get mix up. For one thing, their physical appearances look exactly alike. Mark is tall and thin with curly brown hair. Likewise, Pete is a tall and thin boy with curly hair. They also have the same unusual blue-green eye color. Moreover, Mark wears glasses and so does Pete. Finally, both Mark and Pete have dimple. When they are smiling at the same time, I almost couldn’t tell who is Mark and who is Pete. Though we live together every day, I often still get mix up.
